VNScans is founded on September 7th, 2008 by vampire_nymph. This scanlation group will mainly do shoujo manga and manhwa. We are opening a recruitments in ALL FIELDS. Small Notes: Editors can be change into cleaners and typesetters. We currently have 4 typesetters but only 1 cleaner in hand so we are hoping to get more cleaners ^^. And yeah, QC are needed for all this projects. We are lacking of QC since our QC are multitasking ones.
1. J-E, C-E and K-E translators
Requirements: Must know the general structure of Japanese, Chinese or Korean well. Must be able to use decent and proper English. No past experience needed. Must take a test that is posted here. Currently no test for J-E and K-E.
2. Editors or Cleaners and Typesetters
Requirements: Must have basic knowledge of editing and Photoshop. Preferable Photoshop and GIMP users. No past experience needed. Must take a test that is posted here. Currently no test yet for Typesetters.
3. Proofreader - CLOSED
Requirements: Must know general grammatical errors and must use decent, proper and proficient English. No past experience needed and no test as yet. No proofreaders needed at the moment
4. Quality Checker
Requirements: Must know the basic of Photoshop. Preferable Photoshop and GIMP users. Must be able to spot editing and grammar mistake on the final scans before the release. No past experience needed and no test as yet.
5. Raw Scanner and Raw Provider
No specific requirements. HQ and LQ scans are welcomed.
Anyone willing to help are welcomed and encouraged to try for experience. We are waiting for you!
